Benefits of Lemons

Since you have received some knowledge about lemons, here are some general information -

  • good for the heart
  • stimulates appetite and taste
  • flushes out disturbed pitta through stool and elimination
  • mild laxative
  • digests ama 
  • purifies the system
  • good for cardiac pains
  • good for nausea, vomiting, indigestion, gaseous distention 
  • good for coughing and breathing problems
  • good for liver
  • contains citric acid, vitamin C, B-complex, beta carotene
  • contains antibacterial properties
