Organic Is Best For Kids

I read a great article by Dr. Alan Greene, a pediatrician and he explains why organic is the best choice we can make for our families. A poll out last week from the Organic Trade Association found a sharp decrease in parents who say price is a key factor limiting their organic purchases.  “Parents in charge of the household budget recognize the benefits of organic, and they’re willing to pay a little more to know that they are giving their families the highest-quality and most healthy products being offered in their local store,” said the trade group’s Laura Batcha.

By definition, organics cannot be grown from GMO seeds.  Organic agriculture does not use synthetic pesticides and our organic farmers work hard to avoid contamination from GMOs.  Lets take back control of our food!

Organic is best for kids -

1 – children fed an organic diet have much lower levels of high risk insecticides

2 – choosing organic food reduces the health risks of toxic pesticides by 94%

3 – The American Academy of Pediatrics warned about children’s exposure to pesticides

4 – organic dairy has higher levels of heart healthy omega 3 fatty acids

Organic is one of the best choice we can make for the health of our families.

Dr. Andrew Saul & Organic Food

Dr. Andrew Saul is known as the vitamin expert and he says -
“What would happen if everybody ate lots and lots of fresh organic food that was minimally processed?  I think we’d have an epidemic of health”.
Gradually, we all can change ourselves for the better in the way we eat and what we eat.
And in Ayurveda, food is the best medicine.
You are what you eat.
What are you all eating?

Did You Know - About Sugar

Did you know that sugar suppresses the immune system?
When you eat a big dose of sugar, like a bottle of coke or a candy bar, you temporarily damp down your immune system's ability to respond to challenges.
Organic, unbleached sugar or raw sugar is the way to go.
Everything in moderation!
